Rainy on a Sunday

Today has been a pretty dismal day - all rainy outside.  But the roses hubby got me for Valentines Day are still going strong so decided to have another go at some Macro photography using the flowers.  I liked this one especially  because the water droplets (although there are many) glisten in the light and you can see into the heart of the rose.
Has been a great half term - enjoyed spending some time with my Hubby and we have made the most of getting out and about.  Just off now to attempt some baking of some red velvet brownies (with cheesecake swirls).  Lets hope they taste good, especially one this rainy Sunday.
