Spring birthday
Birthday-celebrations (not mine!) down in Leith earlier this afternoon ... visited one of our favourite bars, as pictured ;-)
And here's a "sea/Spring/shore" related poem, taken from a small undated volume that I have (entitled "The Seasons and the Sea"), by a poet named E.M. Jones:
Spring Flood
Burst through the dams of Winter-time,
And flood the tardy woods,
With an unharnessed surging tide,
Of tender leaves and buds !
So swift your leafy flow shall sweep,
Across the wood-land loam,
That thorns, like streams in spate, shall be
Flecked white with blossom foam.
