A day to be indoors

A high spring tide, a low pressure surge and a brisk hoolie meant that the wisest islanders made it to high ground at the school for an afternoon of short mat bowls. 

Didn't win a single end but had a whale of a time in great company. The cakes were good as well. Too bad for everyone when it's my turn to bake!
