Winter returns

Katie slept for FIFTEEN hours overnight. 6pm through 9am. She tried briefly to wake up at 6am but I told her it wasnt waking up time and she went back to sleep. Until 9am. 

I had a woodland session this morning. It was old friends so Katie came with us. They had a great time in the mud and trees. It was cold, the temperature had dropped noticeably since yesterday. They didn't mind, although it did mean we went through the session quite swiftly! 

When we got home, Katie requested a bacon sandwich for lunch. We finished her holiday homework, watched a bit of Bake Off and played with her play kitchen. We cooked a roast dinner and chocolate fudge cake. We cleared up the chaos. We watched a bit of Top Gear. She read Green Eggs and Ham. Then despite a leisurely day and sleeping til 9am, she was still asleep by 7pm. Half term over. Boo.
