Genesis

There is a section of road in one of our favourite short walks - the one we do when time is short and/or the weather too foul for a longer outing - which is sometimes rendered impassable by flooding. Today we saw just how that particular flood begins, as the sodden hillside could hold no more water and new rivulets sprang up to carry it into the already overflowing ditch. It was rather attractive, and alarmingly relentless.
