The Fairy's House.

Last Tuesday, I found that my prospective blip had toadstools growing on it so I blipped them instead. The logic was simple, this des. res. would last longer than the fungi; as it happens, it didn't matter as they're still flourishing, you can see them above the front door.

I first came across this chainsaw sculpture a few years ago when we first moved our apiary here, it has decayed a little since then but is still serviceable to it's residents - mostly centipedes and woodlice. There are quite a few mushrooms carved out of tree stumps in these woods, though perhaps some jobsworth put his foot down with a firm hand and prevented any more as elaborate and time consuming as this from being made.

Anyway the bees have now been treated with oxalic acid mixed with sugar syrup, it doesn't do them any good but it takes a 95% toll on the blood sucking mites that the bees carry these days.
