Giant's shoe

We still have not come up with a name for our "older" dance group at the Macrobert Arts Centre.

More suggestions thrown into the ring include: Diamond Dancers and Footloose.

The sticking point is that we want to avoid all names that have an ageist ring.

I quite like the idea of Diamond Dancers except it references Diamond weddings.



Instead of our weekly photo of the group - I was busy videoing it for an exhibition coming up in the next few weeks- I opted today for a quick tour of some of the sculpture in the university grounds.

Stirling University has an impressive art collection including a number of outdoor sculptures.

This one, "Shoe" by Diana McLean has a wild bit of parkland all to itself.
