Blizzard conditions

There was heavy snow forecast during the night but when I got there was hardly any. The mountains had a good covering but it was nt long before it start and it was on and off all day with the worse conditions coming between 3 and 4.30pm.The snow was coming down in large clumps and it was nt long until everything was covered including the poor horses at the top of the field.
It has stopped now and started to melt but it's quite a clear night so I expect it will be icy in the morning. Mike's just come in from taking the rubbish out and the car is covered in solid ice.
