Place du Tertre

We tried to go to the Louvre this morning but were turned away by a line to get in far longer than I had ever seen (even in the Carrousel du Louvre underground shopping area).

We went to Montmartre instead. This is a view of a small corner of the square painted by Utrillo and others, with the 19th century basilica  of Sacré Coeur, which overlooks Paris. Our friend Marilyn stars in the left foreground.
