now time for bed.
kyes its late. its been a good day today. I've been to work and its been very productive. I've taken my teenage daughter to newcastle to see the Script (and still can't remember buying the tickets). we stopped at hexham to collect my friend and her lovely daughter and continued our journey stopping off at westerhope for mcdonalds.
After dropping the girls off I drove the streets of newcastle a few more than bargained and a couple of turns around because to quote 'it's literally changed in the last month' thankyou my friend rebecca. anyway - no stress! we parked the car - loads of spaces. They began to fill up fast then we realised a couple were trying to reverse into a space but they were driving off with screaching tyres, we had no idea we were stood in deep conversation in the last remaining parking bay and oblivious to cars trying to park in it! whoops.
our meal was lovely and good to catch up and have a laugh with my friend, not seen since whenever.
after our meal my friend needed a cash point, you can have half a pint of lager and watch pirates run round in a circle whilst taking out your cash, its very entertaining.
my friend in her lovely orange coat with bag to match and me in my regimental black looked so obvious to be in the caring profession that straight after taking out cash from the whole in the wall were asked for assistance by a young lady who had already been helped by the homeless people. We suggested in view of her story she should go to the police station around the corner. The young lady declined and went on to talk to another group of people.
Our young ladies enjoyed the concert, we had a good drive home calling at hexham with my friend and her lovely daughter. Her husband, my knight in shining armour waiting with a jug of water for my window washers. thankyou kind gentleman.
my daughter and I finished the drive home. one tired but very happy young lady. I thanked Uncle Craig for looking after my teenage son then watched the final episode of broadchurch. I thought the killer would be locked up, but that might be the third series.
So I am here now in my nice warm bed. I am thanking my lucky stars I have a home and a bed with warmth and love and hope the young lady in newcastle can find somewhere safe and warm for the night and think of the good job the charities, such as those for the homeless do.
it's been a good day but is now time for bed.
Gokdnight
