Still Life with Chopsticks

The early afternoon sun provided some crisp shadow-play on my maple cutting block. Years and years of meal preparation have etched their marks into its surface. Crumbs from this morning's toast embellished one corner while my favorite pair of chopsticks enjoyed a well-deserved rest.
