Ghost bike

Home today - we were actually back by 1pm, although it doesn't look like it from this photo!

This so-called 'ghost bike' was erected by the family of someone killed whilst cycling along the road in the next village to us.  Very sad case, and was a pure accident so you feel for them and the driver of the van involved.  

The local jury is out on whether it's a distraction for other drivers or a lovely epitaph.  I like it but am sad for the reason behind it - the young man killed was very young.
