Last of it's kind.

Chillenden post mill is the last post mill to have been built in Kent and was in use until 1949.  It stands in the middle of a field and surveys the surrounding countryside and labyrinthine lanes.  
In my mind it is synonymous with the murders of Lyn and Megan Russell in July 1996..  I still find the randomness of their deaths in this sleepy backwater shocking......but then, there are many aspects of this case that are puzzling.
