Ladies who (soup ) lunch...

One of those days again. A text at 8am to say one bod wouldn't be here today,but back tomorrow. So all the planned jobs out the window by breakfast time ! Left other bod to take silage bales out to sheep,and nipped off to collect new glasses which have been ready to collect for over a week now. Also got a haircut as starting to resemble Grizzely Adams !
Filled the petrol cans for the bikes on the way back. They are sneakily raising the price at the pumps by a penny a time, but it's gone up3p/litre in the past fortnight .
Soup Lunch Tuesday in the village hall,so had my lunch there. Good soup ,good craich, and a cheap feed !
Spent the afternoon feeding cattle,mixing feed and shifting bales of straw out the lambing shed round to the (now empty) silage pit. 50 down,only about 300 to go!
Mrs Farmerboab eventually noticed the haircut , i.e " What the hell have you done to your head ? "
