Up up and away

East Modlands Airport and our airliner awaits embarkation against a glowering northern sky and in high winds.
It was a bumpy flight and a bit of a white-knuckle bumpy landing in Valletta in an equally strong wind. I do not enjoy air travel.
The only saving grace climate-wise, having arrived, is that it is 10C warmer in Malta than in Nottinghamshire.
Looking forward to a restful and interesting break.
