Red Tulips

Wombling along on the sofa, looking for inspiration :)



This is Orinoco, a recent gift. I love his red felt hat and long red velvetty scarf. He looks quite cool in B/W too, but the red was just too glorious, so full colour it is :)


So I find myself in a state of confusion, having Blipped in the early hours of the  morning, which felt like yesterday. This meant no entry for today, so poor Orinoco has gone and has been heartlessly replaced by some gloriously red tulips...

I have progressed from the sofa to the dining table, where the tulips reside. They aren't open yet and are doing their tulipy stiff thing by standing to attention and being tight. They will soon loosen up and start flopping, as they grow in their vase. I much prefer them when floppy and casual and when they open up. In fact, they are at their best when almost over. This means more Blips of these red beauties to come...

I also took a B/W shot and it is pretty good, as they look black! I may Blip it at some point but for now, colour all the way!
