Turkeys

Had a couple of very busy days out of town but got to head back home this afternoon. I detoured to take photos of a beautiful red barn in the woods then circled around to the main road to continue on my journey. Just past another woods was a field full of these turkeys, so beautiful but a little bit dumb. When they realized I was stopping they freaked out and started running around like cartoon characters. I hung out for a bit then started to pull away. That's when I saw a good sized buck streaking through the field. He crossed the road, flicked up some snow with his hooves, which startled a little rabbit, and they both took off into the woods at the end of the field. It was like a real life Disney movie.
