Art Exhibit

Kathy and I went to the Heartland Gallery in Plymouth, Indiana to view my art teacher's exhibit. She works primarily in pastels and this show featured that work. I'm showing you this particular landscape because, in class one day, my teacher, Gerrie Govert, grabbed me and another student, hauled us to her easel and drew a piece of cherry pie on the lower left part of this drawing. It was a lesson in the proper technique one must use to get an object to "lay down". The triangular outline can still be seen (in person) which, to me, was hilarious. Granted, it was barely visible but I knew it was there. ;0)
