Still not on the bed

But at least her feet are getting closer...

We had a packed day today- put Granny Grant on a bus in the morning, then went to the antique shop to collect our gorgeous repainted pine chair. Since we owned no dining chairs when we moved in, but don't have a budget for getting a total set of new ones just now, the plan is to acquire mismatched chairs over time and paint them mismatched colours. 

Then Euan went to move stuff from the old house whilst Ivy and I went to the village hall car boot sale to try some gelato samples and not bring home anymore stuff (I was good- I only brought in a caffetiere that Euan needed for his classroom and a string of fairy lights for Ivy's room becasue she said they were pretty)  Lots of Ivy's friends were in the hall- she saw Tilda and persauded Rowan to carry her about. 

In the afternoon Hannah popped round, then Tim, Laura and Laura T came for dinner after helping to move stuff- so basically Ivy saw everyone she knew in one day!
