The kids were horrendous this morning - to the extent that I walked out and went home until it was time to take the wee monster (I told you she was a monster ) to playgroup.
She had calmed down by that point.

Not so The Cygnet.
And his disgraceful behaviour continued off and on while we were out at the shops.
We knew he wasn't feeling well - but ..............
By late morning he had gone into a slump to the extent it was obvious he wasn't going to make nursery.

The afternoon was much better.
Both of them were very quiet and subdued.
