LITTLE BEAUTY

Almost the finished article - this afternoon I strung her up with gut strings which cost a small fortune.

Will leave the strings on until Tuesday to see how the neck reacts to this unaccustomed tension - at the moment the action is ridiculously low - expect it to come up a millimetre or so.

After that I will probably add 2 or 3 mm. to the height of the bridge saddle.

Even with the low action the sound this old lady produces is amazingly sweet & warm & clear :o)
