Our Pots and Pans take the Streets!

It started with one guy, saying "wait. They are attacking our freedom of expression, let's do like the Chilean did after the state coup." Granted, we are not in as dire a situation as the Chileans. But still. So the idea was to go outside, with a pot and a spoon, and bang it for 15 minutes, as a sign of our discontent with the special law.

Tonight, it started with 3 or 4 people, on the backdoor balconies. A few minutes later, there were hundreds of people in my neighborhood's streets. This neighborhood, as I said before, knows what poverty is. So to have so many of us outside, with the support of people who sometimes couldn't even dream of going to college, it was awesome.

And hey, nothing beats a walk after dinner!
ps: but try taking pictures of a moving, banging group!

Ps2: I'm sorry for being a no-show, the last week. Between Lea and the situation here, I just couldn't blip. But I back blipped a lot, and promise to get up to date with your journals!
