St Mary's

Been bottling apples today and had hastily taken a photo of them before dashing out to watch rugby with a friend.On the way up I saw the sun shining on the back of the Catholic church so ground to a halt and here it is. I have blipped the front view a while back. This church has a big crack in the top of it from the earthquake 4 years back and still awaits decisions on it's future. Meantime it stands empty like our Presbyterian one. This church has a really thriving school alongside  it and they cram into a very small hall to worship. The effects of the earthquake are going to be felt for many more years to come.
