The Leaf

The weather has finally calmed down, the high temperatures and humidity have dropped away and it feels like a great weight has been lifted! As I sit here on the rooftop garden with Toto at 11pm it's a blissful 21c and there's a slight cool breeze wafting through and rustling the leaves, total bliss!! :o)

This leaf is at the end of its days but it still has some beauty in the way that it has taken on the appearance of lace! It's quite lovely but wasn't easy to capture the reality of it, mono seemed to work the best to bring out the textures.
