View from Capel Curig

Friday 27th February (916)

Set off from Crewe on the next leg of our journey. It was a glorious morning so we had a lovely drive in to Wales, through beautiful countryside, to Swallow Falls at Betws-y-coed ... where it decided to rain! We spent a little while by the falls and I really enjoyed the opportunity to take some photos and experiment with filters. We've been before but not for a long time. 

We then had a wonderful drive through Snowdonia, via Llanberis, back on to the coast to Conway where we stopped for afternoon tea. A brief walk to the harbor and then on to our hotel in Llandudno. 

They say you get what you pay for. Clearly I am going to have to start paying more for hotels (I've said that before as well!). Out of all the hotels along the front overlooking the sea ours  was the one covered in scaffolding and our room is at the back overlooking the yard! I immediately decided we're eating out tonight!

Another good and relaxing day.
