Because this is who I am

By Brighde

Four hours.

Because I study in Sunderland and live at home, I do a lot of travelling. Meaning I spend a whole lot of time on public transport, that means two hours there and two hours back. Yes ladies and gents, four hours on public transport everyday.

Now, you probably all have your routines of how you get from a to b. Perhaps you're like me and get on the same train or bus everyday at the same time. And I don't know if anyone notices this but you see the same people everyday, and not just getting on but people on the platform that are getting on another train or the same people who get on where you get off. Talk about being creatures of habit.

Soon I won't do this anymore. Soon I won't go on metros and busses for four hours everyday and I'll just walk home from uni. I think I'll feel lost when I move out, like I will have too much spare time. Not like I'm complaining, I like the idea of having extra hours in bed. I'm slowly becoming the student I tried so hard to avoid being.

Happy blipping.
