My first blue

I'm really excited about this. It's my first photo of a blue butterfly and it was taken in my own garden.

I had just wandered out to check on some plants I put in yesterday when I noticed a bit of a flutter. Luckily, I hadn't put my battery on charge yet so I could grab the Canon and wait and watch.

She settled on the witchhazel, wandered around a couple of other shrubs and then visited the magnolia before setting off next door. I hope she will be back.

According to my butterfly book, she may be a Chalk-hill Blue. The markings are not quite right for a Common Blue. Other blippers please help.

And she's worth a closer took in large too.
