Change of day tradition.....

The Langham Hotel in London -- the first of a world wide brand today - was opened in 1865.   In the Langham in Melbourne,  at 18:65 each evening (that is 19:05 of course) candles are lit in the lobby and an old tram gong is rung to mark the transition of the hotel from day mode to evening mode.

The young lady is dressed in the Langham's corporate pink,
