A pair of abandoned Castles

There was something about the fortitude
expressed in this solitary deckchair that
commended more than casual attention.
There seemed to be a sympathy, if not
even admiration, for the individual who
had sat there supervising the building of
the Castle as the young builders at his feet
took tedious inspiration from the impressive
remains of their Norman forbears on the headland !
