1914 Vickers Pattern 13 PDR. Gun. Raised by Scarborough Sub Aqua
Club and local fishermen in October 1982 from the wreck of SS Hornsund
sunk by torpedo 23 Sept 1917 2.5 miles SE of this location. Airlifted by RAF
helicopter to this position 2 June 1984.
