Sacred
I started the day with a wonderful peaceful half hour sat down by the lake watching the birds. This is a Sacred Ibis. You can only see the full reflection I was going for if you view in large.
Last night we had a meeting outside and as dusk fell a family of zebras nonchalantly wandered past, after dark twelve hippos came into the hotel garden followed by the giraffes.
It's a bit shabby and run down but this is an incredible place to host a retreat. My colleagues who have been living in tents in the heat of South Sudan, are themselves from war zones where their families remain, or out in remote and dangerous postings finally started to relax and de-stress….. which makes it all the more worthwhile.
