Chrysanthemum

We won the quiz last night instead of being runners-up, hurrah!  I then spent a restless night going through all the questions, eventually dropping off sometime after 4 a.m.  I wish my mind would give up and let me sleep.  Shattered today.

I don't know who remembers Joyce Grenfell, but last night a friend gave me a book of hers on small children in a nursery class which is very amusing and I may use snippets of from time to time.

A beautiful but blustery and cool day so this afternoon I will watch the rugby and cook a stew with dumplings, at JJ's request.  This is from a bunch of flowers purchased this morning.
