Campbell Park
Thanks to everyone for the fun with yesterday's blip.
Having put my head back on and changed my makeup, JJ and I headed towards the canal at Milton Keynes and decided on a walk through Campbell Park. This part of the world is not known for its hills, but this park has one. It is probably the result of digging out the foundations for the city and landscaping it. There are good views to be had from the top.
A hot chocolate or two plus the loo drew us towards John Lewis, but before we got there we discovered the city had created a sculpture park consisting of marble pillars of varying sizes. Most of these have writing of one sort or another i.e." the date" and Mandela Day, or" the date" and National Skipping Day. Presumably they will be added to over the years.
Unfortunately we missed the St David's Day anthem which was performed for the mayor.
Here endeth the lesson for today.
