A warm perch!

I have a group of jackdaws that live in the chimney pots of the houses at the bottom of my garden. This is one of them, they know a good place to sit when the weather's cold and wet - right next to where the steam from the heating comes out.

Last night I was playing for a ceilidh at Stoke on Trent which was great fun as usual - just a long drive back home. It was lovely to see a fox crossing one of the lanes though. One of the band arrived an hour late - he'd got a new sat nav and it had taken him on a long scenic journey round the area including going up farm tracks. Luckily mine was more well behaved though it's had it's moments in the past!
