for Seed Potatoes

If you follow all the advice then now is the time of year to start chitting potatoes.  My seed potatoes have spent the winter months wrapped up in newspaper and well out of reach of mice.

So now they see the light of day for the first time.  They are put in our front porch to get plenty of light and very shortly they will start to grow dark green shoots in readiness for planting in the ground.

It has been an exciting day really.
