Bright night lights

of Media City UK, the new home of both the
BBC and ITV.

This is the view across the Manchester Ship Canal that greets you on leaving the Lowry Theatre in Salford! It's quite a place to visit, day or night. Shopping outlets, eateries and bars and the theatre itself, lots of modern bridges and buildings, the metro link trams!!!

We have just got home after seeing Collabro, the winners of last years Britians Got Talent. What a great show, super talented singers, maybe the UKs answer to Il Divo! Opera singer Lucy Kay, who came second to them, was their special guest and she was just fab too!

We had planned to go into Salford early so I could blip, then we were going to have a meal, as its hubs birthday tomorrow, but the weather has been so horrible we shelved that plan and went just for the show. We met Mum and sis there too. It was my treat for all 3, sis's birthday in a week or so, and then Mothers Day, so it all seemed like a good idea, and it was, we all had a great time:-)

I'm quite pleased with this night shot, not something I've done much of, but I think it's worked quite well. I'd be interested in your comments, in terms of improving it :-)
