Odd Still Life

Three statements, unconnected (almost): the coffee table has a glass top supported by an old music book open on the left and a violin on the right, both on two piles of antique music books (titled Bach and Mozart respectively; the jigsaw puzzle is a map centred on our old Lake District home, and the daffodils — well, perhaps they go with the Lake District, reminding me of Wordsworth (who was born in the town in the centre of this map). Wordsworth, of course, 'wandered lonely as a cloud…', looking at daffs by the lake shore.
