Gone already

Despite the optimism of yesterday's snowfall there was a lot less at ours when we got home than there had been further South in the county.
Pushka goes on her hols whilst we're away - but the lovely Barking Mad people brought her back this morning & we shot up the lanes with her in what turned out to be the best part of the day by some measure.
Lunch in town was called for to try & lift our (my) mood before an afternoon with the lawyers being brought up to speed on the latest developments. As we'd driven over Whinfell the weather had changed dramatically - and it was a sprint from Brew Brothers to the lawyer's just to avoid a soaking.
Sat in the cave typing this now and rain is lashing down - the lovely white covering is mostly gone - hopefully there'll be some left up high to go and play in later this week.
