We are getting a new cooker

And this is where we chose it and ordered it today. It will be delivered tomorrow. So where is it? It is obviously not an online shop – these are ‘real’! Neither is it a huge multiple store. No, this is an independent electrical supplier, a family firm, in Carlisle. It’s where we go for any large item. It’s where every one of our appliances came from originally. We’ve been shopping here for years and years.

They have an amazing range of appliances in store, for saying they have limited space, but they can get anything they haven’t got in stock. They are friendly and extremely helpful. They give the most detailed and sensible advice on any purchase. They provide a delivery service (and that’s a ‘When do you want it?’ kind of delivery service). So what about prices? Well, somehow they manage to be competitive. And what is very important is that their price includes delivery, fitting, taking away of unwanted appliances and all packaging and they allow time for the space to be cleaned before the new one is fitted, and they give advice on usage. Fantastic service, all included in the price. Why would we go anywhere else!
