'Round The Young Silver Birch...


Doesn't have quite the same ring to it, never mind. Anyway, seven native silver birches arrived this morning to plant at the back of the lower garden.

Nice to be planting stuff rather than hacking through it.

Went to see "Wasters" tonight - the latest play from local playwright Nick Wilkes.  Very good, though perhaps a bit too much 'borrowed' from his own excellent "Adrian's Wall".
