Petuniary
We really haven't had enough roofing fixing to report on this year; it's about time we started lifting a few more stones to see what lurks beneath.
Not going to be a great surprise, is it?
This is the 1930's pavilion (not to be confused with the Victorian Summerhouse or late Victorian Wendy house - you are keeping up aren't you?). A fair bit of rot was visible from the outset; quite a lot more once the roofers start taking it apart.
Meanwhile, a slate (today's collective noun) of roofers were also tackling the skylight over the downstairs loo. That particular window/roof has been a bit of a struggle to get a robust fix for - mainly because it really wasn't the right thing to have built there in the first place.

Curiously, the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias as it fell, was, "Oh no, not again!" - Douglas Adams.
