Catching the late sun
I've been very lazy today, watching TV on the iPad whilst transferring images from my laptop to the desktop, ready to start editing.
Keen followers of this journal will have noticed that it's Wednesday and I should have been walking. Aggie still needs to be nursed along so I had decided to rest.
It was a beautiful day so I decided to go for a short walk this afternoon and meet up with the long walkers. I mistimed this and arrived in Newbrough just as they did. No walk for me, but a happy time chatting with folk over a drink at the Red Lion.
I nearly blipped my friend Lesley, who pulled a rude face at me when I picked up the camera. She had accidentally dropped it from table height to the ground just before this. The camera seems OK, phew! We are still friends.
On my way home the low sun was catching this stand of birch trees so I stopped to capture the warm light.
