I never thought I'd hear myself say this but the day started calmly around 5:45am - apparently the perfect time for solitude.  The wee man woke just after 6am and we played with Grandma until it was time to head out to pre-school.  Today's session was a little longer than the usual four hours as we had to take the wee lady down to San Diego for her official birth certificate.

It's official.  We're the proud parents of a little American lady.  

Add her to our international family and we have quite the mix - an Australian mum, an English dad and a Scottish brother.  At least we'll have plenty of teams to support during the next World Cup
