Baby Alice

This morning Sam sent me this photo of my beautiful new grand-daughter Alice. She weighted 6lb 10 oz and is doing brilliantly.

Isn't she so lovely.

One tip from my recent experience of visiting Tom in hospital. A very vital piece of equipment for any inmate is a box of earplugs. (I am going in with some today)
Why?-
Each ward contains
1. up to 6 TVs, all showing different channels at high volume
2. up to 6 radios, all tuned into different channels at high volume
3. up to 5 other sets of visitor, all competing with each other to shout the loudest.

Perhaps I am exaggerating a wee bit, but the TV's and radios can be very intrusive.
