Hopwood Old Hall

This fine, but sadly currently unoccupied, building stands on a site occupied as the residence of the Hopwood family since the 12th century.  This building dates probably from the 17th century, although some parts may be much older.  Various plans for its regeneration have been considered, the most recent involving a hotel. More shots on Flickr.
