sweaty as...

Up very early (4am; I love being able to get the first flight but it really is painful to have to set the alarm that early) to head down to Cambridge for a meeting then into London. The meeting was very good if long and by the time I got out of the meeting the south east had been basking in brilliant sunshine all day and it was roasting. Absolutely sweltering.

London was even hotter, so I waited until about 9pm before going for a run. Starting from Tower Bridge, heading upstream to Tate and then back down the other side. Not very far but a) I'm terrible at running, b) there were people everywhere and c) it was really very warm.

Bumped into this chap playing brilliantly (and keeping cool) in one of the covered sections of the Thames path.
