Teal
Seen at Aberlady Bay Nature Reserve in East Lothian while staying with T in North Berwick. A better view of Mr Teal than Mrs, who does have a nice flash of teal on her wing, although you can't see that in this pic. We saw a number of pairs of teal here.
Better large.
Beautifully sunny day as you can see, with slightly less wind than the previous day. We visited Waterson House, the HQ of the Scottish Ornithologists' Club, at the far side of Aberlady and saw an exhibition of paintings by John Busby and lithographs and lino cuts by Howard Towll. Then it was back to North Berwick for cake and after that, home for me.
