Book Day

World Book Day, maybe a cynical marketing ploy, maybe a chance to remind ourselves how brilliant books are, whatever the reason physical print is still something to cherish.

Driving to my meeting this morning through Bures and from posts on social media it was clear that children and their parents had been well and truly engaged with tv idea. The 20 or so children walking through Bures with their teachers dressed as characters couldn't fail to bring a smile to my face.

We have books dotted around the house, on shelves, sitting on cupboards, beside the bed. I love books, I do own a kindle but really fail to engage with it in quite the way I do with a proper book
