Jokulsarlon - Ice beach

A well known land mark on the Southern coast of Iceland.  Some great wave painting to be done this evening.

I paid for the shot with some wet edges to my trousers but avoided getting some wet boots.

The day started with a bang literally with a mad hail storm that stung hands and face at sunrise followed immediately after by a lightning strike just behind the coach as we were jumping on board for some respite.  Hail and snow followed us most of the day along the coast road before some respite at the ice beach.
