Fun in the snow
Well, when you can't beat 'em join 'em right? Since Mother Nature has decided to dump another storm on us, we might as well have some fun. The kids got all bundled up and went outside with their parents and Dillon.
They had a blast. I couldn't stand to be out their for very long because it was getting colder by the hour but I didn't manage to get some great pictures.
I love this one of my granddaughter, Nadia. Wearing her Minnie Mouse hat and those rosy cheeks she looked like a winter snow doll. It was so hard to pick just one photo today. Some days I'm so grateful for one photo and today I had so many I couldn't decide.
We probably got the most snow with this storm than we have with any of the others. We got about a foot of snow. It looks like a winter wonderland. Every tree branch, every shrub and any surface you can think of is covered in snow. My husband went out with the snow blower and did the walkway, driveway and some of the neighbors also. Nobody had school and work was a shortened day.
I was watching the kids making snow angels and I remembered how good it felt to lay in the snow and look up at the sky as the snow was falling. Like thousands of frosty stars. Fun times.
